My name is Heather Carver and I am currently a senior at the University of New England where I major in Elementary Education and minor in Special Education. When I am not at school, I am a lead toddler teacher at a local child learning center. My students are always keeping me on my toes! My interests are very simple. I am currently a pet mom to a guinea pig, a hedgehog, and my dog Keesha. I am a huge fan of country music and you usually will find me at country concerts on the weekend. I enjoy spending my day walking the beach (in the warm summer months) and playing my guitar. After getting my degree, I hope to one day have a classroom of my own where I hope to teach students from 2nd-4th grade. I can not wait to change the lives of the many different children that walk through my classroom door! This is my first online course and I am very excited to see how it all works out.
