Remix Guinness Book of World Records

Let me start off by saying that this project was a lot of work but it was SO much fun! For my remix, I decided to take an article about the worlds smallest police dog and use my hedgehog to turn into the worlds smallest police hedgehog.

Smallest Police Hedgehog

This was a pretty easy assignment once you figured out what you were doing. It was a lot of plug and play and figuring out how to get things to work. For me, I took this project is bunch of different ways (I will admit that I probably made it harder on myself).

The first step I took in order to do this project was creating the picture of Daphnie the hedgehog. In order to do this, I played around with different things on word. Basically I kept adding things to the document until it came out looking the way I wanted it to. After that, I used the snipping tool and saved it to my computer. This then allowed me to upload the image to Flickr which became my best friend when adding pictures to the website. I did the same thing when adding the picture of my hedgehog and the police car to the website.

After making the photos and adding everything to Flickr, I then installed X-Ray goggles to my laptop. Once that was complete, I then went back to the original post (smallest police dog) and started to play around. I will say that I am very excited that I learned different things on Code Academy or else I am not sure I could do this assignment.

Once on the website it was basically plug and play. I was able to edit the text that I wanted to. Then I added the codes from the pictures off Flickr which made things a lot easier.

This assignment overall took me a few hours because it took some time to figure out what direction I wanted to go in and how to get things in the places that I wanted them. I would use X-Ray Goggles again. While it was a bit challenging, I had a lot of fun doing it!
